Circular hike below the Rosengarten. The “Kaiserstein”, a very special vantage point with a splendid view of the mountain massive Catinaccio/Rosengarten and the legendary “Frin” meadows with 360° mountain panorama make this hike a very special experience.
Start is at the car park of the cable car Nova Levante/Welschnofen. From here you can comfortably take the Laurin I cable car to the Frommer Alm hut. On path [1A], an easy hiking path, you reach the Ochsenhütte hut, whose sun terrace and homemade specialities invite you to linger. Continue on path [1A] across flowering mountain meadows to the junction with path [9], which leads to the highlight panorama point, “The Kaiserstein”. From here, enjoy the magnificent view of the mountain massive Catinaccio/Rosengarten and pause for a moment.Return via path [9] and follow it to the car park. Cross the road here and continue on path [9] to the Hotel Moseralm. Take path [16] across the “Frin” meadows, which will amaze you with their 360° mountain panorama. Follow the path until you reach the road Via Nigra/Nigerstraße. Here you cross the road and get back onto path [1A], which leads back to the Frommer Alm hut.
Descent with the Laurin I cable car to Nova Levante/Welschnofen.
